Health Insurance Patients
If you are using private health insurance, it is important to contact your insurer before your first consultation - and before each subsequent visit - to ensure you have the necessary authorisation. Without prior approval, you may be asked to cover the cost of the appointment yourself.
Most insurers will also require a referral from your GP before you can see Mr Klinke. Once authorisation is in place, consultation and treatment fees are typically fully covered, with no additional charges beyond any costs not included in your policy.
Self-Paying Patients
If you are self-funding your care, you are welcome to refer yourself directly. Payment for consultations is required at the time of the appointment. For surgical procedures, all fees and associated charges should be settled prior to admission to the hospital.
This approach ensures transparency and allows you to focus on receiving the highest standard of foot and ankle care without surprises.
